Second day here in Budapest for the U14 Vasas Cup 2013: the first game on program was the big match between Sabonis Basketball Center (Arlauskas at the pic) and Cibona Zagreb with the Lithuanians overcoming the Croatians 98-61 thanks to an impressive performance by the playmaker Kerevicius that ended the game with 29 points (5/10 from downtown) and the impression that he has every time the control of what it is happening on the court. Cibona played with intensity the first 2 quarters with Jankovic showing once again all his potential in both sides of the court with good defensive rebound attitude plus interesting offensive skills; he is a real prospect and also thanks to his long arms and skinny legs he will play at high levels in the next seasons. In the second game Stellazzurra Academy defeat KK Flash Beograd with an important contribution from Laganà (20 of plus/minus) and Rajacic: the italian point guard is a powerful physique and looking at his family he probably will grow until 195 cm more or less, he can run the court rapidly but he has to improve his shot from mid/long range; on the other hand Rajacic (he is on loan from Flash to Stellazzurra) played against his own teammates with a good offensive performance, good offensive 1vs1 solutions, but too discontinuous during the 40 minutes especially on defense. KK Flash tried to recover in the last quarter with Stojanovic that carried his team to a -5 disadvantage with 3 consecutive three points shots but this wasn't enough: the left handed shooting guard has no fears and thanks to his fast shot release he is a constant problem for the opponents, to understand what will happen with him we must wait his physical development but the preconditions are interesting.

Vasas Academy won over Cibona Zagreb in the last game of the second day of the tournament with the usual great collective performance guided by one man show Somogyi that played like a senior delivering assists to his teammates and scoring important baskets in clutch moments and moreover the 5'6'' Hungarian playmaker is a real leader also on defense, especially on the ball with fast hands and rapid feet. On the other side Cibona played at high level for three quarters until Jankovic wasn't in fouls trouble, from then combo guard Bistrovic with his fast breaks showed good things but not enough to stop Vasas.
