What is Belgrado Basketball (BBB)? We have talked with Catalan Jordi Sampietro, director and founder of this academy based in Belgrade (Serbia) but also organizing summer camps in Barcelona and Madrid. Main goals are to improve the individual skills, working with Serbian methodology.

-Who is Jordi Sampietro?
"I born in Barcelona. Graduated in Physical Education and Psychology. Basketball coach from 2004 and living in Belgrade, working for some professional teams. I’ve also worked as scout for some Spanish agencies, and from 2011 director and founder of Belgrado Basketball".

-How did you decide to build BBB?
"I wanted to give this opportunity to all the people from basketball world (coaches, players, supporters, teams). During all the year, and always according to people preferences, BBB gives you the opportunity to attend games, practices and camps in Belgrade, where coaches and prospects can improve their knowledge helped by the phylosophy and ’savoir faire’ of the most known basketball school. Coaches can see how FMP-Red Star (one of the best European academies) practice, and also can watch games of senior teams".

-And what about the summer camps?
"With the summer camps we organize young players have the chance to work under Serbian methodology, with coaches like experienced Aleksandar Glisic and Milan Mandaric. We are preparing the third edition of Belgrade one, while we are working with other two options (Madrid and Barcelona). In Belgrade kids older than 13 can attend them, while in both camps of Spain the age range will be from 8 to 19.
