We are proud to announce the first edition of the "U20 Castell-Platja d’Aro Eurohopes Tournament", that will be held from June 25th to 27th in Castell-Platja d’Aro (Catalunya, Spain), only fifteen 15 minutes by car from Eurohopes base (Palamós). Four national teams will participate in the event, as part of their preparation for the U20 European Championship of this summer. There will be three Division "A" teams (Greece, Spain and Great Britain) and one Division "B" one (Belarus). The entrance to the arena will be free. 

 

What players will be in Castell-Platja d’Aro? Even there aren’t official rosters yet the event can host some interesting names like Joventut Badalona Alberto Abalde (’95, Spain), Cajasol Sevilla Willy Hernangómez (’94, Spain), Sunrise Academy Ruben Guerrero (’95, Spain), OleMiss Sebas Saiz (’94, Spain), Cajasol Sevilla Maksim Salash (’96, Belarus), Panathinaikos Giorgios Diamantakos (’95, Greece), California-Irvine Luke Nelson (’95, Great Britain), Unicaja Mo Soluade (’95, Great Britain)...

 

The Division "A" European Championship will be held in Crete (Greece), while the Division "B" will be in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Hercegovina).      

 

Calendar:

June 25th: Belarus-Greece (17.30h) and Spain-Great Britain (19.30h).

June 26th: Greece-Great Britain (17.30h) and Spain-Belarus (19.30h).

June 27th: Great Britain-Belarus (10.00h) and Spain-Greece (12.00h).
