It's my very first time writing a blog, so I hope that you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.
It wasn't just me, I believe that all the basketball world saw how well the serbs played in the European Championship, not just as individuals, I mean as a team. It was the first time that they didn't have more than one big name (Krstic) on the roster, but they showed that they were up to the challenge. Just to name some of them, because we could talk about every single one of them, Milos Teodosic, Stefan Markovic ('88) -at the pic-, Uros Tripkovic or Novica Velickovic, together with Krstic... I wanted to talk about Markovic, because I played against him when I was playing in my beloved Girona. He surprised me when we played them for the first time in Vrsac (Serbia), against Hemorfarm. He started for his team, and played very smart game, not making mistakes, and running his team very well. At that time Victor Sada played in Girona too, whom I consider one of the smartests point-gurds in Europe right now, and I remember us sitting in the hotel and talking about how good Stefan was going to be... 
Now two years have gone by, and he is one of the silver medalist in the Eurobasket '09. He played behind the youngster Milos Teodosic, and did a great job of keeping the paste of his team. I'm pretty sure that we will hear his name in a big team very soon...
