We are delighted to announce for fourth year in a row that Platja d’Aro (Spain) will host the U20 Castell-Platja d’Aro Eurohopes International Tournament with four teams that will compete at FIBA U20 European Championship Division A in Crete, Greece. This year the tournament will be held from June 30th to July 2nd and the four national teams that will take part of the event will be France, Germany, Czech Republic and host Spain.

In our first edition in 2014 35th pick of 2015 NBA Draft Willy Hernangomez (’94) was chosen MVP and his brother Juan Alberto Hernangomez (’95), 15th pick at NBA Draft 2016 was the MVP in the 2015 edition. Last year UNC-Greensboro guard Francisco Alonso ('96) was selected MVP after help Spain get his third win in a row. Will Spain remain unbeaten this year? Who will be the MVP of the tournament?
