Maikcol Pérez is a really strong small forward who is able to take advantage of his size to create room for his offense. He is agressive on his drives and dangerous in straight lines: despite not being specially explosive or skilled as a ball handler, he has found his nuclear skill and has turned it into a very valuable asset. He also is good at absorbing contacts near the rim and shows agressiveness trying to get to spots like low or mid post to start his offense. He also has shown good ways acting as a baseline threat. Needs to keep developing his catch and shoot from the three point line and speed up his shooting release.

Perez has a tremendous upside thanks to his body type: not sculpted yet, with high shoulders and a low gravity center. The feel for the game is great especially because of his touch near the basket and his ball-handle skills pretty advanced for a player at his age.
