PROFILE

Eurocamp Treviso - June 2026
By Albert Juncà

This tournament is an opportunity to see how players like Amosov adapt to a completely different context than the one they usually play in. An effortless executor, most of his impact comes from his feel for moving without the ball. He uses the attention drawn by his teammates to find open shots on the perimeter, showing a clean and solid release. He also shows interesting reads when cutting to the rim, identifying the right moment to move and taking advantage of situations when the center collapses the paint on the short roll to cut and finish at the rim. Defensively, his overall level is solid, crashing and playing tough. He also shows good anticipation and passing-lane instincts to generate steals and get out in transition.

ANGE Final Stage: Athens - May 2026
By Albert Juncà

Stocky-framed forward who can fit at both forward positions. Amosov currently has a very high floor and can impact the game both on and off the ball. As a ball-handler, he controls the pace well, using his body to seal defenders and avoid weak-side rim protectors. Although he is not explosive, he knows how to create space coming off screens and rise up quickly into his shot. Solid and rangy shooter, especially in spot-up situations. He is also adding more handles and footwork to create separation and shoot more comfortably off the dribble. Defensively, he has some trouble guarding on the perimeter, especially when asked to repeat efforts while sliding. He also lacks explosiveness to react consistently in closeout situations. However, he uses his natural strength well to be a tough defender in the paint against bigger players.

ANGE Stage 2: Abu Dhabi - March 2026
By Albert Juncà

Square-framed forward with impressive, powerful legs and margin to get stronger in the upper body. Offensively, he seems effortless, always playing at the same pace, filling the correct spots off the ball. His strong lower body allows him to change rhythm very explosively to gain enough space coming off screens. At this tournament, although most of his attempts came from spot-up, he didn’t shoot as well as usual. He uses his body well when attacking close-outs, absorbing contact effectively in the paint. On the defensive end, he relies on his legs to stay in front of other forwards, displaying correct technique when navigating or anticipating screens. He can occasionally switch onto bigger players, playing tough and not letting them finish easily near the rim.

U18 Torneig Ciutat de l'Hospitalet - December 2025
By Albert Juncà

Early-bloomer forward with a square frame and powerful legs. On offense, he turns his hips very quickly to generate advantages coming off screens, squaring up fast and shooting with great regularity. Comfortable putting the ball on the floor when attacking closeouts, Amosov uses his body extremely well to absorb contact and finish at the rim in multiple ways. He has excellent court vision, sharing the ball from key spots or off the dribble. Defensively, he shows great off-ball positional awareness, covering spaces and adjusting his position depending on the ball. When guarding the ball, he plays tough, uses his body to absorb contact, and slides with correct lateral quickness.

First look- January 2024

Powerful wing. Was an early bloomer in terms of physicality, but his skillset and toughness are translating well to high levels. Has gained consistency in key areas such as shooting or driving off closeouts and he does a good job staying with wings and providing effort to guarantee defensive boards.
