PROFILE
ANGE Final Stage: Athens - May 2026
By Albert Juncà
Lengthy wing with significant room for improvement in terms of muscular development. He has not had the same impact as he did in Ulm. Playing mostly at the small forward position, his game is based on his off-ball instincts, filling spaces on the perimeter and attacking off the catch. His inconsistency from the three-point line makes him predictable and limits his ability to take big advantages when attacking closeouts. However, he shows good passing ability in these situations, finding teammates when driving to the basket or playing in traffic. Defensively, he is often used as an on-ball defender and shows a high motor when applying full-court pressure. His main weakness is that he must be more disciplined when using his hands to pressure the ball, so he doesn’t lose his foot positioning and allow direct driving lanes to the rim.
ANGE Stage 1: Ulm - February 2026
By Albert Juncà
Lengthy wing with a promising frame and plenty of margin to fill out and add weight. Compared to previous tournaments with the Slovenia U16 national team, with his club he operates mostly at the SF position. Offensively, he stands out for his off-ball positioning and decision-making. He relies on his long strides to be aggressive in catch-and-drive situations, not only to finish at the rim but also to collapse the paint and find open teammates. A slasher who uses his body well to finish in traffic.
From beyond the arc, his release is a bit slow and still has significant room for improvement to become more consistent with his feet set. Defensively, he struggles to react quickly when guarding smaller players in traffic, but he has enough size and positional awareness to stay in front of similar profiles on the perimeter.
U16 No Borders Eurocup - October 2025
By Albert Juncà
Lengthy late-bloomer wing with broad shoulders who is used to bringing the ball up and acting as a primary creator throughout the tournament, using his long strides to play comfortably in traffic. As a ball-handler, Kolka shows interesting flashes in the pick-and-roll, reading space well to split defenders and get all the way to the rim. He mainly attacks to his right and shows limitations when going left. He uses his size to play physically against weaker or smaller guards, especially when operating in the post. Defensively, he can guard similar profiles, relying on his length and motor, but struggles to stay in front of smaller guards, lacking the quickness to slide and navigate screens effectively.
U14 SloveniaBall 2024 - August 2024
By Pietro Cristofori
Standing at 6'5, Kolka has unique mix of size and skillset in the event. He will grow more, shoulders are good looking and frame is not filled-in. He might project at 6'9. Talent, fair touch. Quick hands to finish quick around the rim. Can't shoot, many work to do under this regard. But his handles are promising, gets to the rim with ease. Okay athleticism, he's an above average shot-blocker: provides versatility on the defensive end. Stays in front of guards and puts pressure all-around. He will have to find a skill to bring to the next level.
First review- June 2024
Big feet, long body. Undeveloped. Will fill the frame. Can create his own shot in isolated actions, almost always goes right. At the current level he absorbs contacts and draws fouls. Likes playing off the ball and understands where his space is. Shooting mechanics look OK. On the defensive end, he takes advantage of his length and mobility. Will need to lower his stance and keep working on his motor.
