Big with an appealing mix of size, physicality and skillset. His above-average athleticism at this level lets him impact the game in multiple ways. Great hands to pass, finish or operate with the ball. This, combined with his body usage, allows him to absorb contact when operating with the ball, both in traffic and in catch-and-drive half-court situations. Takes the correct rolling angles after pick-and-roll situations, sealing the defenders with his body and being able to finish through contact. Despite shooting from the perimeter not being his first option, Berrouet has correct fluidity and balance to rise up with his feet set. His release is a bit slow, but playing as a 5 he has enough space to execute consistently. On defense, he relies on his vertical leap to protect the rim, staying at the drop in pick-and-roll coverages, inviting the opponent to finish at the rim to try to block the shot. Tends to jump into fakes too often.

Berrouet is a 2010-born US-based player with a Latvian passport, and he was a key piece on this national team despite being one year younger. He has legit athleticism given his strong, solid body archetype. Good size, he knows how to move without the ball, and he puts in effort. His high motor allows him to grab rebounds and win 50/50 balls. As in Steckis’ case, Berrouet will be able to play alongside another big in the future. Steckis and Berrouet both bring versatility and talent to the frontcourt.
