Best player and best prospect on his team. Excellent size for the PG spot and above-average game comprehension. He saw angles and situations that his teammates didn’t. Some other turnovers were on lazy horizontal passes, which should be affordable to clean up. Involves multiple teammates as a pick&roll ball-handler and loves throwing bounce passes. His stationary passing skills are good. Relies on his craftiness and length; not good at drawing contact yet. Average at changing height, direction, and pace with the ball in his hands. Better as a ball-handler for open floor situations. He can drive both ways, but his finishing and touch are significantly better with the right hand. Shooting has improved: he looks more confident and can sustain a decent volume from the 3PT line. Consistent with his feet set and willing to take the pull up from the distance if the defender decided to prevent the drive. He needs to speed up his shooting mechanics. He’s disruptive for the position and can provide some secondary rim protection. Felt comfortable in a switch defensive scheme—all the Slovenian players had a similar size-.
