On Friday starts season 2012/13 of NCAA with several high-ranked European players. One of them is 7-footer Przemek Karnowski (’93), who committed past summer to Gonzaga. How do you feel in Spokane? You have been in US only for couple of weeks. How is your acclimatization going?
- I feel really good here in Spokane. When I was here in April on my official visit , I met all of these guys before so we have known each other, but acclimatization is going good.
Did you adjust already to American game style? Do you see any big differences between American and European game?
- The two biggest differences are that the game is much quicker and more athletic. I have to adjust as fast as I can.
College season is getting closer to season opener. What are your expectations for your freshman season? What do you want to achieve personally and as a team?
- We have played scrimmage between us and our only exhibition game. We got 3 weeks of hard practices, so I can honestly say that we are getting prepare. I want to help my team and also be more athletic to adjust American style of basketball.
Have you already talked to Gonzaga coaching staff about your role in Bulldogs in upcoming season? What they expect from you?
- I don't want to answer for this question. I have talked with the staff but I don't want to talk about that.
