Turkish big man Adem Bona ('03) decided to move to the United States and join Prolific Prep (CA), sources confirmed to Eurohopes. Bona chose to continue his career in USA despite having multiple options in Europe once he decided to leave Pinar Karsiyaka last spring.

As Eurohopes reported, Bona was close to sign a deal with Mega after considering options from most of the powerhouses in Europe. Bona, who will be eligible for the 2022 NBA draft, eventually decided to move to the United States to play for Prolific Prep, a top program where he will join 2022-class Serbian wing Stefan Todorovic ('02) and 2022-class French forward Yohan Traore ('03).

Currently sitting in our Top-5 2003 ranking, Bona was a top performer in the 2019 European U16 Championship where he was named in the All-Tournament team averaging 14.2 points, 10.3 rebounds and 4 blocks per game. He also played in the U18 Championship representing Turkey, where he moved from Nigeria four years ago.

A terrific combination of length, athleticism and motor makes Bona an excellent rim protector and a great finisher near the basket especially playing pick and roll situations or attacking the offensive board. He starts to show glimpses in the perimeter with an improved jump shot and his ability to attack facing the basket thanks to an excellent coordination.
